Dan Alexander, Pitcher

Fed up with cheating women, Dan Alexander, star pitcher for the New York Nighthawks, grew restless. Searching for something more than a bar babe, he zeroed in on a girl in the stands. He never expected to see a beautiful chick pushing frankfurters. But the hot dog girl looked as smokin’ as the food she was selling.

Holly Merrill found a place to hide in plain sight, as a vendor at Nighthawks’ stadium. Keeping her secret safe and simply happy to stay alive, she never considered finding love an option. After all, a bad girl doesn’t deserve a decent guy, does she?

Coming off his best season ever, Dan went into the playoffs, hell bent on winning the pennant and playing in the World Series. But could he maintain his focus on the field, where everything was going right, when off the field everything was falling apart?

REVIEWS

5.0 out of 5 stars The Bottom of the Ninth Series is off to a great start!, September 23, 2016
This review is from: Dan Alexander, Pitcher (Bottom of the Ninth Book 1) (Kindle Edition)

Heads up, sports romance fans! Jean Joachim hits one out of the park, bases loaded, with Dan Aexander, Pitcher. Chock full of nail-biting innning-by-inning calls, and featuring a guy who’s winning on the field but not off it and a gal who’s made some mistakes and is paying a hefty price, and you have the perfect combination for sizzling chemistry, some chills and thrills, and good old fashioned sports action to keep the plot zinging right along.

Unlike most romances, there’s no guarantee. Holly and Dan have to earn their future, one pitch at a time. The setting is authentic, the dialog spot on, and the danger real enough to keep you on the edge of your seat.

Dan Alexander, Pitcher is a great start to yet another of the author’s fabulous sports romance series. Well done…
